The trailer for Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr, Srijit Mukherji's next Feluda adventure starring Tota Roy Choudhury, was dropped on Saturday by streaming platform Hoichoi ahead of the OTT show’s December 20 premiere.

This adaptation of Satyajit Ray’s classic novella takes the beloved detective trio — Feluda, Topshe, and Jatayu — on a nail-biting adventure to Kashmir.

Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr stars Tota Roy Choudhury as the sharp-witted sleuth Prodosh C. Mitter (Feluda). Kalpan Mitra plays Feluda’s trusted cousin Topshe and Anirban Chakrabarti the quirky writer Jatayu. Together, they embark on a vacation in Kashmir, which, needless to mention, leads them to a murder investigation.

“This Christmas holiday is set to become adventurous with a chilling mystery set in the paradise on Earth! The wait is over — Feluda is back with a new investigation,” Hoichoi wrote on X alongside the two-and-a-half-minute long trailer.

Bhuswargo Bhoyonkawr is the second season of Hoichoi’s Feludar Goyendagiri series, following the success of the first season, where Feluda and his companions solved a murder mystery in the misty hills of Darjeeling.

In this adventure, the Feluda-Topshe-Jatayu trio meet a retired judge, Siddheshwar Mallik (Rajatava Dutta), during a holiday in Kashmir. As the group travel across Kashmir together, Mallick is found murdered and the list of suspects includes his assistant Sushanto Shom (Riddhi Sen), his doctor Harinath Majumdar (Debesh Chatterjee), attendant Prayag (Sumanta Roy) and his son Bijoy (Sawon Chakraborty). Bijoy’s friend Arun (Aniruddha Gupta) is also under the radar.

The director, fresh from the success of his Durga Puja 2024 release Tekka, is now gearing up to shoot his next film Winkle Twinkle, based on Bratya Basu’s play of the same name.
