Actor Tom Holland’s weekend plan to watch his girlfriend Zendaya’s latest release Challengers has prompted heartwarming reactions from fans.

“I know what I’m doing this weekend,” wrote the Spider-Man: No Way Home actor on Sunday, sharing a poster of the Luca Guadagnino-helmed sports drama on social media.

Netizens were quick to applaud Holland for being a supportive boyfriend. “We love a supportive man,” wrote a fan, while another commented, “All boyfriends should be like Tom Holland who supports his girlfriend in everything she does, I really respect him so much.”

Later, the Uncharted actor took to his Instagram stories to share the trailer of Challengers. “LETS GOOOO!” he added, tagging Zendaya in the post.

Zendaya plays Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy-turned-coach, in Challengers. The film also stars Mike Faist and Josh O’ Connor.

Challengers follows Tashi’s efforts to assist her husband (Faist) in staging a comeback in tennis. However, when a match requires Faist to face off against Tashi’s ex-boyfriend (Connor), their past and present collide, causing Tashi to question the price of victory. The sports drama hit the screens on April 26.

Holland last appeared in the Apple TV+ miniseries The Crowded Room, alongside Amanda Seyfried and Emmy Rossum.
