The makers of Jeff Nichols’s upcoming drama film The Bikeriders on Thursday dropped first-look character posters of Tom Hardy, Jodie Comer and Austin Butler.

“First look at character posters for Jodie Comer, Austin Butler and Tom Hardy in The Bikeriders, written and directed by Jeff Nichols. In theatres June 21 from,” read production house Focus Features’s caption on Instagram.

Austin, who plays an important member of Tom Hardy’s shady midwestern 1960s’ motorcycle gang in the film, features in a sleeveless denim jacket in the poster. He gazes at something at a distance with a look of bewilderment.

Comer plays Austin’s on-screen wife in the film. She sports a deep-winged eyeliner and red lipstick, and wears a half-smile on her face.

Hardy, who plays the founder of the motorcycle gang, wears a prussian blue shirt in the poster and has an intense look on his face.

“After a chance encounter, headstrong Kathy is drawn to Benny, member of Midwestern motorcycle club the Vandals. As the club transforms into a dangerous underworld of violence, Benny must choose between Kathy and his loyalty to the club,” reads the official synopsis of the film as per IMDb.

The Bikeriders also stars Michael Shannon, Mike Faist and Norman Reedus. Helmed by Midnight Special director Jeff Nichols, the film is inspired by the 1968 photo book of the same name by American photographer Danny Lyon.

The Bikeriders is slated to hit theatres on December 1.
