Veteran actor Tom Hanks loves inventing exotic cocktails and is fond of typewriters, his wife Rita Wilson revealed in a birthday wish for the 67-year-old on July 9.
“He loves a typewriter just slightly less than me, invents cocktails like Diet Cokecaine ( Diet Coke mixed with Champagne) or a Cokearita (Diet Coke mixed with margarita),” the actress-singer wrote on Instagram on Sunday alongside a picture of Hanks.
“Happy Birthday to this man who is my lover, my best friend, my family, the father of my children,” the actress-singer wrote Instagram on Sunday to share an image of Hanks and wrote.
She added that the Forrest Gump actor “DJs regularly on @bossradio66, is happiest being surrounded by his family and friends, and has committed to telling the stories of veterans”.
The actor has created his own coffee brand supporting war veterans, she said.
“He is one of the smartest people I know, has made me laugh everyday for 38 years, can nap anywhere at anytime. Happy happy birthday my love,” the Sleepless in Seattle actress concluded.
Hanks made a Diet Coke-Champagne cocktail during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in January.
Hanks and Wilson got married in 1988 and have two children, Chet and Truman Hanks. The celebrity couple celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in May.
