Katrina Kaif has a busy year ahead of her with three silver screen releases, including the much-awaited Salman Khan-headline action thriller Tiger 3 — a part of Yash Raj Film’s spy universe.
The 39-year-old actress, who was last seen in the horror comedy Phone Bhoot, will also share screen space with Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa later in 2023.
In Tiger 3, Katrina will reprise her role as the fearless, combat-trained spy Zoya.
The first two films in the Tiger franchise — Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai — saw Katrina perform gravity-defying stunts alongside Salman.
Emraan Hashmi, who will be playing the antagonist in Tiger 3, is reportedly the deadliest villain of the YRF spy universe. The film, directed by Maneesh Sharma, has been scheduled for an Eid release.
Jee Le Zaraa, quite like Zoya Akhtar’s 2011 film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, will be a road-trip movie that celebrates the friendship between three women. The makers of Jee Le Zaraa are yet to announce the release date of the film.
After sharing screen space with two of the most popular leading ladies of Bollywood, Katrina will team up with Vijay Setupathi for the first time for Merry Christmas. The festive thriller has been directed by Sriram Raghavan, known for films like Ek Hasina Thi, Badlapur and Andhadhun. Merry Christmas is slated for a December 2023 release.
