They changed the paradigm of Indian content, bringing heartwarming and slice-of-life stories to the fore. TVF — the makers behind shows like Panchayat, Kota Factory, Aspirants, Gullak and many more — has clocked a dozen years and continues to remain strong.

Striking a chord with viewers across generations and firmly entrenching itself within pop culture, TVF’s shows have had multiple seasons — Pitchers, Panchayat, Permanent Roomates, Hostel Daze, Aspirants are some examples — as well as much-loved spinoffs like Sandeep Bhaiya. They have also reintroduced rural and small-town India to the web, with films like 12th Fail and the upcoming Laapataa Ladies now being set in a similar milieu.
