That's how Shah Rukh Khan introduced the much-awaited trailer of his much-anticipated film Jawan. Playing out over 2:45 minutes, the trailer, as expected is action-packed and edge-of-the-seat, but also packs in quite a bit of fun (we loved that mention of Alia Bhatt!)

The trailer of Jawan shows SRK as both hero and 'villain', Nayanthara in an action-heavy role, Vijay Sethupathi sporting a cool look as the antagonist, Deepika Padukone in an eye-catching special appearance and SRK's 'gang of girls', including Sanya Malhotra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan and Girija Oak, among others.

Bursting with action, adventure, and heart-pounding thrills, the trailer grants the audiences another peek into the expansive world of Jawan, as envisioned by director Atlee. It has Shah Rukh's character recounting the journey of a man in uniform to one who is seemingly so exasperated with the system that he is compelled to hold up a metro train and take its passengers hostage. Along the way, he not only has to encounter a tough cop, played by Nayanthara in her Bolly debut but also a villain named Kalee, played by the inimitable Vijay Sethupathi. The trailer gives more than a glimpse into the world of Jawan and its characters and also unveils some other actors, namely Sunil Grover and Eijaz Khan.

From the very first glimpse of the action-packed 'prevue' of Jawan, audiences have been on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting this very moment. The songs introduced everyone to the various flavours of this thrilling action saga, each note resonating with Shah Rukh Khan's magnetic charm.

Coincidentally, Thursday also marked Nayanthara's debut on social media. A double treat for her fans as she drops the Jawan trailer on her Instagram account. Jawan vrooms into theatres on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
