Bryan Adams explores Victoria Memorial, Prinsep Ghat a day after Kolkata show

The 65-year-old musician is set to perform in Shillong’s Bhoirymbong today

Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams explored Kolkata a day after he kickstarted his highly anticipated So Happy It Hurts Tour 2024 from the city on Sunday.

Adams, who is set to perform in Shillong on December 10, shared a video featuring some of Kolkata’s iconic sites. “Spent the day visiting sites in Kolkata, just off to Shillong for the second day of our fabulous “so happy it hurts” tour of India,” he captioned the mini vlog on Instagram on Monday.

The video shows Adams visiting the Victoria Memorial Hall and the banks of Ganges a day after his show. The singer also clicked photos of billboards advertising his concert in Aquatica.

The 65-year-old musician’s concert on Monday began with his rendition of his 2021 song Kick Ass. Bryan Adams concluded the show with the song Straight From the Heart from his 1983 third studio album Cuts Like A Knife, which he dedicated to his 96-year-old mother, Elizabeth Jane Adams.

The Summer of 69 singer is set to perform in Bhoirymbong on December 10 as part of the So Happy It Hurts tour, which will also include stops in Haryana (December 12), Mumbai (December 13), Bengaluru (December 14), Hyderabad (December 16) and Goa (December 17). Adams previously toured India in 1993-94, 2001, 2006, 2011 and 2018.
