The Portable Door

The makers of the upcoming fantasy-adventure film The Portable Door have released its trailer. The movie is adapted from Tom Holt's seven-book fantasy series of the same name. Helmed by Australian director Jeffrey Walker, it stars Sam Neill, Patrick Gibson, Guy Pearce, Miranda Otto, Jessica De Gouw and Christoph Waltz.

The two-minute-long trailer introduces us to “the most innovative company in history” that arranges coincidence and controls gut feelings. However, the organisation is looking for an artefact — a portable door — which can transport travellers wherever they wish to go.

Enkilum Chandrike

Friday Film House released the official trailer of the upcoming Malayalam-language film Enkilum Chandrike. Directed by Adithyan Chandrashekar, the film stars Suraj Venjaramoodu and Basil Joseph in lead roles.

In the two-minute-11-second-long trailer, Suraj, Basil and some others lament the fact that one of their friends is getting married and has not informed them about it. They rack their brains to figure out how this could have happened. The trailer promises a feel-good buddy entertainer filled with comedy and nostalgia.

Enkilum Chandrike will hit theatres on February 10.

Amigos

Mythri Movie Makers unveiled the trailer of its upcoming Telugu-language film Amigos on Friday late at night. Written and directed by Rajendra Reddy, the film stars Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Ashika Ranganath, Brahmaji and Sapthagiri.

The two-minute-eight-second-long action-packed trailer shows a tale of doppelganger terror. There are elements of romance and thriller in the teaser. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram plays three characters in this film.

Amigos is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on February 10.

Christopher

RD Illuminations on Saturday dropped the second teaser of Malayalam star Mammootty’s next film titled Christopher. Directed by renowned cinematographer Roby Varghese Raj, the film is produced by the actor’s own production company Mammootty Kampany. The movie has been written by Muhammed Shafi and Rony David Raj, while Sushin Shyam will compose its music. It also features Amala Paul, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Vinay Rai and Shine Tom Chacko.

The 42-second-long teaser shows Mammootty as a supercop who is a legend in the industry but has a traumatic and dark past. Aishwarya Lekshmi and Amala Paul are also seen in the teaser. The teaser is packed with glimpses of action sequences.
