The Out-Laws
The official trailer of Netflix’s upcoming crime action comedy film The Out-Laws was released by the streamers on Tuesday. Directed by Tyler Spindel, the film stars Adam DeVine, Pierce Brosnan, Ellen Barkin, Nina Dobrev, Michael Rooker, Poorna Jagannathan, Julie Hagerty, Richard Kind, Lil Rel Howery and Blake Anderson.
The two-minute-39-second-long trailer shows Owen (DeVine), a bank manager, meeting his girlfriend’s parents Billy (Pierce Brosnan) and Lily (Ellen Barkin). However, they turn out to be notorious bank robbers and rob the bank Owen works for. Later, the trio are forced to team up to save Owen’s girlfriend from a crime lord, played by Poorna Jagannathan.
The Out-Laws will be streaming on Netflix on July 7.
Bird Box Barcelona
Netflix unveiled the teaser of its upcoming Spanish post-apocalyptic monster film Bird Box Barcelona on Tuesday. A spin-off to Sandra Bullock’s 2018 film Bird Box, it stars Mario Casas, Alejandra Howard, Georgina Campbell, Diego Calva, Naila Schuberth, Lola Dueñas, Patrick Criado, Gonzalo De Castro and Michelle Jenner.
The one-minute-52-second-long teaser shows panic gripping the residents of the Catalan city as a series of eerie incidents, causing death and disaster, are reported. An unknown force that takes control of those who have eye contact with it haunts the residents. We are introduced to the three main characters including a child who try to fight their way out of the situation.
Bird Box Barcelona will arrive on Netflix on July 14.
Resident Evil - Death Island
Sony Pictures Entertainment have dropped the trailer of the upcoming Japanese adult computer-animated action horror film Resident Evil - Death Island. The voice cast includes Kevin Dorman, Matthew Mercer, Nicole Tompkins, Erin Cahill and Stephanie Panisello.
The two-minute-29-second-long trailer is set in the world of Resident Evil films and follows D.S.O. agent Leon S. Kennedy, who is on a mission to rescue Dr Antonio Taylor from kidnappers. B.S.A.A. agent Chris Redfield is also investigating a zombie outbreak in San Francisco and their paths soon collide.
Resident Evil - Death Island will arrive on Blu-Ray and digital on July 25. The makers are yet to announce the streaming platform it will be available on.
The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart
Amazon Prime Video has dropped the teaser trailer of the upcoming Australian miniseries The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart. Developed by Sarah Lambert, it is based on the novel of the same name by Holly Ringland. The series stars Sigourney Weaver and Alycia Debnam-Carey in the lead roles.
The one-minute-22-second-long teaser trailer shows a young girl named Alice Hart leaving her home in a fit of rage. The next montage shows her childhood and fire engulfing her house. The video chronicles Alice’s story and her emotional turmoil.
The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart will be streaming on Prime Video from August 4.
