The Mandalorian Season 3
The official trailer for the third season of Disney’s Star Wars prequel series The Mandalorian was released on Tuesday. Directors for the third season are Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, Black Panther cinematographer Rachel Morrison and Minari filmmaker Lee Isaac Chung. Pedro Pascal stars as the title character alongside Katee Sackhoff, Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito.
The one-minute-42-second-long trailer is filled with trademark intergalactic space fights of the Star Wars universe. The synopsis reads, “The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”
The Mandalorian Season 3 will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from March 1.
Class
Netflix on Tuesday unveiled the official trailer of the upcoming thriller series Class. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ashim Ahluwalia, the series features Gurfateh Pirzada, Anjali Sivaraman, Ayesha Kanga and Cyaawal Singh. This is the Indian adaptation of the famous Spanish young adult series Elite.
The two-minute-23-second-long trailer presents us with the murky world of Delhi’s most elite school Hampton International. Three students from a poor neighbourhood join the exclusive high school for the Delhi elite where dark secrets and rumours ultimately lead to a gruesome murder.
Class will be streaming on Netflix from February 3.
Roktokorobi
Zee5 on Monday late evening dropped the trailer of its upcoming series Roktokorobi. Helmed by Sayantan Ghoshal, the series stars Vikram Chatterjee, Raima Sen, Tulika Basu, Haridas Chatterjee, Shantilal Mukherjee, Laboni Sarkar, Bhaswar Chatterjee, Rooqma Ray, Angana Ray and Kinjal Nanda.
In the two-minute-11-second-long trailer, Satyaki (Vikram), a psychologist, visits his aunt’s place in Jonai. Some sudden deaths in the family and his sister-in-law's hallucinations set him on a quest for truth.
Roktokorobi will premiere on Zee5 on February 3.
Love Birds
Saregama Kannada released the official teaser of its upcoming Kannada-language romantic comedy film Love Birds on Monday night. Directed by PC Shekar, the film stars Darling Krishna, Milana Nagaraj, Samyuktha Hornad, Sadhu Kokila, Rangayana Raghu, Veena Sundar, Avinash and Kadipudi Chandru.
The 54-second-long teaser follows Darling Krishna’s Deepak, who is a software engineer on weekdays and the leader of a biker gang on weekends. We also see Milana Nagaraj’s Pooja, an independent fashion designer who has her own brand.
