The makers of Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab denied rumours about the release of its teaser during Christmas or New Year, mentioning that any update regarding the film will be officially announced at the right time.
Sharing an update on the film’s shoot, the production house People Media Factory wrote on X, “#TheRajaSaab shooting is progressing rapidly with continuous day and night schedules. Nearly 80% of the shoot has been completed, and post production work is in full swing.”“We’ve noticed various speculations circulating about the teaser release during Christmas or New Year. We kindly request you not to believe these false rumours. We will officially announce any updates at the right time.#TheRajaSaabOnApril10th,” they added.
Touted as a “horror romantic comedy’, The Raja Saab is slated to hit theatres on April 10 next year. Helmed by Maruthi, the film also stars Malavika Mohanan, Niddhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar in key roles.
While Thaman S has worked on the soundtrack of the film, Karthik Palani has served as the cinematographer. Editing for the film has been done by Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao and its screenplay has been prepared by Maruthi.
The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibotla under the banner of People Media Factory.
Prabhas was last seen in Nag Ashwin’s epic sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan. He is also set to star in the mythological fantasy film Kannappa alongside Mohanlal and Akshay Kumar.
