Netflix has dropped the trailer for The Great Indian Kapil Show featuring Sunil Grover’s popular character Guthi, revealing that the reality comedy series will be available on the streaming platform from March 30.

Immediately after the announcement of the first season of The Great Indian Kapil Show, social media was abuzz with fans talking about Sunil’s reunion with comedian Kapil Sharma following their widely publicised fallout.

“It's time to laugh like never before😂! because the gang is back and this time.. hum international jaa rahe hain! 😉 TRAILER Out Now! #TheGreatIndianKapilShow streaming from 30th March, every Saturday at 8pm only on Netflix! ✨,” wrote the streaming platform on social media alongside the trailer on Saturday.

As the two-minute long trailer unfolds, host Kapil Sharma introduces himself and sets the stage for the show. He humorously refers to his infamous spat with Sunil, indicating that the duo is ready to embrace their comedic partnership once again.

Grover, known for his iconic portrayal of Gutthi on Sony TV’s The Kapil Sharma Show, left fans in disbelief when he quit the show in 2018 following his rift with Sharma.

The trailer also gives a sneak peek into the impressive lineup of guests for the upcoming season. From Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma to Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer and Bollywood star Aamir Khan, the show promises to be a hotspot for celebrity guests. Ranbir Kapoor will make an appearance alongside his mother Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor. The roster further includes the team behind Netflix movie Amar Singh Chamkila — Imtiaz Ali, Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra.

The Great Indian Kapil Show will be airing every Saturday on Netflix at 8pm. Krishna Abhishek, Rajeev Thakur, Archana Puran Singh and Kiku Sharda will also be part of the show.
