Actress Ananya Panday’s mother Bhavana Pandey also appears as a guest in one of the episodes alongside other cast members of the hit Netflix series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. Krushna Abhishek and Sunil Grover twirl in a sari in the trailer, which also features Kiku Sharda who recreates Alia’s look from the 2022 biographical drama Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Earlier this week, Netflix had dropped a teaser for Season 2 featuring Kapil, Kiku, Sunil, Krushna, Rajiv Thakur and Archana Puran Singh.

The first season of The Great Indian Kapil Show premiered on Netflix on March 30 and concluded on June 22. The audience response to the first season of the comedy chat show was lukewarm. The first episode with Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni garnered 2.5 million views. In the second week, the number of viewers increased slightly to 2.6 million views. However, with the third episode’s release, the show dropped to the eighth position, amassing only 1.7 million views.
