Swastika Mukherjee, Rajatava Dutta, Satyam Bhattacharya, Shreema Bhattacherjee and Subhrajit Datta star in the new film Promoter Boudi.

The story revolves around Shanti, who becomes a promoter by chance. In order to survive in the male-dominated profession, Shanti faces all kinds of odds and becomes successful.

The film goes on to show her fight against an extremely influential, rich promoter called Panchanan. A tussle ensues between the two over a piece of land. Shanti wants to make a building that will house orphans, people from old-age homes and the homeless. And Panchanan wants to make the biggest shopping mall in the city. Shanti wants to build a haven for the homeless, orphans and the elderly, whereas Panchanan wants to use it for his profit.

Written and directed by Sourya Deb, Promoter Boudi is a rollercoaster ride of drama, comedy and so much more. Sourya has over 12 years of experience in advertising and eight years of experience as a writer and director of brand films, TVCs, and documentaries. He has managed more than 150 local and national brands and has worked in Calcutta and Mumbai.
