Haranath Chakraborty's upcoming feature film Oh! Lovely starring Rik, Rajnandini Paul, Madan Mitra, Kharaj Mukherjee, Laboni Sarkar, and more, is set to release in theatres on August 25. The story revolves around Sayantan aka Santu whose father is a farmer. He produces paddy and supplies it to the rice mill of wealthy businessman Subimal Babu. He often faces obstacles from his rivals like Nanda Dulal. Santu, unwilling to join his father's work, leaves home and reaches Calcutta to do something on his own. There he meets Nidhi, an orphan girl. Their romance evolves and they decide to get married. However, Nidhi gives him the condition that she will only marry Santu in front of his family. Santu fails to fulfil the provison and Nidhi breaks up the marriage on the day of their registry. A heartbroken Santu then gets to know that his elder brother is getting married and goes back home. There he faces more upheavals which change the course of his life drastically.

"This is a film that you can enjoy with your family. The film marks so many new beginnings. This film features Madan Mitra. He has performed strongly with actors like Kharaj and Labani. I am launching Rik, a fresh, charming face as my hero. It's his first film. People will also get to see Rajnandini in a new glamorous avatar in the film. There is romance, family drama, and a surge of emotions that people will enjoy. Subhankar and Suvam have created such good songs to match all the moods showcased in the film. Oh! Lovely is a film for all. The mass appeal is the key I believe," said Haranath.

The film was shot by Iswar Barik and edited by Sujay Dutta Ray. Produced by Sandeep Sathi, Sathi Films has presented the film.
