Tom Holland plays an introverted, often bullied high school boy who mysteriously finds himself in the middle of the investigation for a deadly shooting incident in the trailer of Apple TV+’s upcoming psychological thriller The Crowded Room.
Holland’s Danny Sullivan, who claims to have “blank spots” when he tries to remember incidents of the past, becomes the prime suspect in the shooting incident in 1979’s New York and gets grilled by detective Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried). The investigation leads to shocking revelations.
The two-minute-20-second-long trailer shows Danny unveil his life through a series of interviews with Seyfried’s detective Goodwin. The clip also shows Danny’s unusual crayon drawings and him getting bullied in school. Danny is chased and brutally beaten by a group of boys until he is rescued by a mysterious man. He gets familiar with the man and his associates which ultimately leads him to uncover a life-altering revelation.
Apple TV+ shared the trailer on Instagram and wrote, “The facts are never the whole story. The Crowded Room premieres June 9 on Apple TV+”

Created by Akiva Goldsman, the mini-series is inspired by the 1981 non-fiction novel The Minds of Billy Milligan by Daniel Keyes. The series also features Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, Will Chase, Lior Raz, Laila Robins and Henry Eikenberry in important roles.
The Crowded Room will premiere on Apple TV+ on June 9.
