The Continental
Amazon Prime Video UK unveiled the official trailer of its upcoming miniseries The Continental on Thursday. Developed by Greg Coolidge, Kirk Ward and Shawn Simmons, it is a spin-off of the John Wick film series. It stars Colin Woodell, Mel Gibson, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Jessica Allain, Mishel Prada and Nhung Kate.
The almost three-minute-long trailer explores the origin of the iconic New York-based hotel for assassins in the 1970s. We see Winston Scott going through a deadly course to establish to the hotel’s link with the underworld.
The Continental: From the World of John Wick is streaming on September 22 on Peacock.
Kaala
Disney+Hotstar dropped the official trailer of its upcoming investigative thriller series Kaala on Friday. Created and helmed by Bejor Nambiar, the series stars Avinash Tiwary, Rohan Vinod Mehra, Nivetha Pethuraj, Taher Shabbir, Jitin Gulati, Elisha Mayor and Hiten Tejwani.
The two-minute-19-second-long trailer introduces Avinash Tiwary in the role of IB officer Ritwik who is attempting to dismantle a reverse hawala operation. In this operation, money moves back and forth between senders outside of official channels to avoid detection by the authorities and paying tax.
Kaala will be streaming on Disney+Hotstar from September 15.
Bodies
Netflix unveiled the official teaser of its upcoming British thriller series Bodies. Created by Paul Tomalin based on the DC comic and graphic novel of the same name, the series stars Shira Haas, Stephen Graham, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, Kyle Soller and Amaka Okafor.
In the one-minute-two-second-long teaser, we see a dead body being discovered by four different detectives at four different times - from the 1800s to the 2050s.
Bodies will be streaming on Netflix from October 19.
Neon
Netflix shared the teaser of its upcoming comedy drama series Neon on Friday. The series is from the executive producer of Daddy Yankee and with original songs produced by Tainy. It stars Emma Ferreira, Jordan Mendoza and Courtney Taylor.
The one-minute-20-second-long teaser follows a trio of friends who want to hit it big in the world of reggaeton. It chronicles their journey from Florida to the bustling beaches and bright lights of Miami.
Neon will arrive on Netflix on October 19.
