Netflix has renewed That ’90s Show for Season 2 just a fortnight after its premiere on January 19, according to an announcement made by the streamer on Instagram.
The widely popular sitcom, which is a generational sequel to That ’70s show, features Callie Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Sam Morelos, Reyn Doi and Mace Coronel. It has steadily held onto the Top 10 spot in 35 different countries.
Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp, who played Red and Kitty Forman in That ’70s show, have reprised their roles for the new Netflix show.
That ‘70s Show stars Mila Kunis, Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Ashton Kutcher and Wilmer Valderrama also made guest appearances on the Netflix show in the first season itself.
The second season will reportedly have 16 episodes, six more than the previous season.
