Actor Vijay will feature in a double role in his next film The Greatest of All Time, revealed a first-look poster dropped by the makers on Sunday.
Shared on social media, the poster shows a younger version of Vijay, affectionately called Thalapathy by fans, sharing a fist bump with his older persona. Both of them are dressed in uniforms. A deflated parachute and a fighter plane also feature in the poster.
“Light can devour the darkness but darkness cannot consume the light,” reads the tagline of the poster.
Revealing the name of the movie, which was tentatively known as Thalapathy 68, AGS Production house CEO wrote on X, “Our Thalapathy is the Greatest Of All Time 🔥🔥🔥🔥.”
Helmed by Venkat Prabhu, The Greatest of All Time also features Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Yogi Babu and Mic Mohan. While Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music, Siddhartha Nuni worked with the cinematography of the film, the first collaboration between Venkat and Vijay.
The release date of The Greatest of All Time is yet to be announced.
Vijay was last seen in the third film in the Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe, Leo, which was co-produced by SS Lalit Kumar’s Seven Screen Studio and Jagadish Palanisamy. Also starring Sanjay Dutt and Trisha Krishnan, Leo minted Rs 300 crore at the box office.
