After his recent blockbuster Leo, Tamil actor Vijay is now ready for his next project, tentatively titled Thalapathy 68, whose cast and crew has been revealed by the makers along with a behind-the-scenes video of the first day’s shoot.
Production banner AGS Entertainment shared the news on social media on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami on Tuesday. “On this auspicious day, #Thalapathy68 @actorvijay Sir's #PadaPoojai video is here,” they wrote on X along with the two-minute-12-second-long video.
Helmed by Venkat Prabhu, Thalapathy 68 had its first shooting schedule in Chennai a few weeks ago. It will also feature actress Meenakshi Chaudhary, who made her Tamil film debut in the Vijay Antony-starrer Kolai earlier this year.
Industry veterans Prashanth, Prabhudeva, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Amir, Sneha, Laila, Yogi Babu, and VTV Ganesh will play key roles in the film. In addition, it will see actors Vaibhav, Premgi, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raj playing key roles in the movie.
Siddhartha Nuni will be in charge of cinematography, while Venkat Raajen will be responsible for editing. Like any Vijay movie, Thalapathy 68 is expected to feature stunt sequences, which will be executed under the guidance of Dhilip Subbarayan,
