Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is the title of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s first film together, revealed the makers on Wednesday, sharing a motion poster of the ‘impossible love story’ that is slated to hit the cinemas on February 9.
The upcoming movie has been named after the 2004 song Teri Baaton by Raghav, a version of which has been shared with the poster and will likely be featured in the film.
The poster features both Shahid and Kriti with the song Teri Baaton playing in the background. “This Valentine’s week, experience an impossible love story!” says its caption.
Written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is about the romance that is brewing between a robotics expert (Shahid) and a robot (Kriti).
Aside from the Bloody Daddy actor and the Adipurush actress, the film will also feature Bollywood veteran Dharmendra, who will return to the big screen after pairing up with Shabana Azmi for Karan Johar’s 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani starring Ranveer Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
Backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya faced several delays in its release, with the initial release date set in October 2023.
