Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (TBMAUJ), led by Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, managed to earn Rs 44.60 crore nett at the domestic box office after a week's theatrical run, reports industry data-tracking website Sacnilk.
The romantic comedy began its journey with a decent opening on Friday, collecting Rs 6.7 crore nett. It gained momentum over the weekend, earning Rs 9.65 crore nett on Saturday and Rs 10.75 crore nett on Sunday.
However, the film struggled during the weekdays, experiencing a significant drop in box office receipts. It managed to rake in Rs 3.65 crore nett on Monday, followed by Rs 3.85 crore nett on Tuesday. Despite a slight improvement on Wednesday with Rs 6.75 crore nett, attributed to Valentine's Day footfalls, TBMAUJ failed to sustain its early momentum. The seventh day's earnings of Rs 3.25 crore marked the lowest daily collection for the movie.
TBMAUJ revolves around an engineer (played by Shahid Kapoor) who falls in love with a robot (played by Kriti Sanon). The film is written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, with production credits going to Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, and Laxman Utekar.
