Taylor Swift has surprised fans once again by extending her widely-celebrated Eras Tour across US and Canada with new locations and dates in 2024. The 33-year-old singer-songwriter surprised fans by announcing 15 additional concerts on social media on Thursday. The new stops include Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis and Toronto, with three consecutive shows in each city.

Swift took to Instagram to share the news with her fans. “Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era. Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: The Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024 with @gracieabrams!” she wrote, alongside the line-up of her extended tour.

Following the debut of her tenth studio album Midnights in 2022, the Eras Tour kicked off on March 17 this year in Glendale, Arizona, and is scheduled to wrap up on November 23, 2024, in Toronto, Canada. Singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams will accompany Swift on her North American shows.

The Eras Tour is the sixth ongoing stadium concert by Swift, who described it as a journey through all of her musical “eras”. After the Reputation Tour in 2018, it is her most extensive tour till date with 146 shows across five continents.

The announcement has been greeted with a lot of excitement from Swifties — fans of Swift — in North America, especially in Canada, where the tour is being eagerly anticipated. The added dates pave the way for more Swifties to catch the singer live and experience her music to the fullest.
