Taylor Swift received 10 nods to lead the nominations of 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, announced on Tuesday. Airing on September 10, the awards show will take place in New York for the first time.
The Tortured Poets Department singer has secured eight nominations for her Fortnight music video and additional nods in the Artist of the Year and Best Pop categories. Last year, Swift took home nine VMAs, bringing her career total to 23, just behind Beyoncé’s 28.
Joining Swift in the Artist of the Year category are Ariana Grande, Bad Bunny, Eminem, Sabrina Carpenter and SZA.
Fans can cast their votes in 15 categories starting today at vote.mtv.com until August 30. The voting for Best New Artist will remain open until the show begins.
