American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift brought her boyfriend Travis Kelce onstage, surprising fans, including Hugh Grant, Tom Cruise and Greta Gerwig, attending her London concert at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
Kelce, who is an American footballer for the Kansas City Chief of the National Football League, appeared onstage during the Tortured Poets Department segment of Swift’s setlist. He presented himself in a top hat and black tailcoat, carrying the singer in her arms, and met with enthusiastic cheers and applause from around the Wembley Stadium.
The football star danced around Swift while other dancers helped the singer to get into her costume. Before walking away to sing “I Can Do it With a Broken Heart”, Swift turned to Kelce and blew a kiss to him.
Swift and Kelce, who reportedly began dating around September last year following the pop star’s breakup with British actor Joe Alwyn in April, marked their first “Instagram official" post after the concert. The Cruel Summer singer shared a photo of herself and Kelce posing for a selfie with Prince William and his two children — Prince George and Princess Charlotte — who attended the first night of the concert to celebrate the Prince of Wales’ 42nd birthday on June 21 (Friday). "Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start," her post reads.
The Royal family also took to their official Instagram handle to share another moment of the Royal family members along with Swift. “Thank you @taylorswift for a great evening! #LondonTSTheErastour,” reads the caption on the post
Additionally, on Friday, Buckingham Palace’s military band welcomed Swift before her London concert by performing a rendition of her song Shake It Off on the palace grounds. A video of the band’s performance was shared on the Royal family's official X account. "Can't stop, won't stop grooving," the caption reads.
Notting Hill star Hugh Grant attended the second night of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium on Saturday. After Saturday’s show, Grant took to his official X handle to thank the pop star and Kelce, jokingly calling the latter Swift’s “gigantic boyfriend”. “Dear @taylorswift13, You have an incredible show, an amazing and v hospitable team and excellent if gigantic boyfriend,” the actor wrote on the microblogging site.
Hollywood celebrities Jamie Dornan, Liam Hemsworth, Rachel Zegler, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher also attended Swift’s London concerts on Saturday.
