Actress Tamannaah Bhatia credited Italian couturier Roberto Cavalli of revolutionising fashion with his ‘unapologetic aesthetic’ a day after making her Milan Fashion Week debut for his latest collection.
Walking the ramp in a Cavalli outfit reminded the Indian actress of how the Italian couturier’s work over the years has made her and several other women feel ‘empowered’, she said in a long Instagram note on Friday.
“As I witnessed the exquisite collection unfold, I was reminded of the enduring legacy of Roberto Cavalli - a master who revolutionized Italian fashion with his bold, sensual, and unapologetic aesthetic,” the 34-year-old actress wrote alongside a video of her moments at the fashion gala.
Recalling how she has been an ardent admirer of Cavalli’s iconic prints, mesmerising textures and daring silhouettes since she was a young girl, Tamannaah said, “His designs have always made me feel like a woman - empowered, sensual, and unstoppable.”
“Fausto Puglisi’s homage collection is a testament to Cavalli’s timeless influence, blending elegance with audacity and refinement with rebellion. Every look was a masterclass in craftsmanship, paying tribute to the maestro’s innovative spirit,” the Stree 2 actress wrote, describing the fashion line.
Signing off, Tamannaah mentioned that she feels honoured to have witnessed this collection “first hand”.
Tamannaah will be next seen in Odela 2, a sequel to the 2022 film Odela Railway Station. She will also feature in Prashanth Varma’s That is Mahalakshmi, Andal Ramesh’s Kaathu Karuppu, Sundar C’s Aranmanai 4 and S Karunakaran’s Yen Endru Kadhal Enben.
