Sisters Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor wished their mother Babita Kapoor on her 77th birthday by sharing photos with the former actress and penning heartfelt notes on social media. But Kareena’s sons Taimur and Jeh stole the show with handmade cards for their granny.
“Happy birthday to our world मेरी माँ ,” Kareena wrote in her note on Instagram.
The first four pictures in the carousel show Taimur and Jeh creating hand-made cards using colourful chart papers, sketch pens and stickers to wish their grandmother Babita on her birthday. While Taimur penned a heartfelt note to express his love for Babita, Jeh used quirky stickers in his card.
“Happy Birthday Granny. I love you most in the world. I love you more than anything. I want chicken wings. Love, Amma Tim and Abba and Jeh,” Taimur wrote in his birthday card.
In the last picture, Kareena shared a throwback picture of her posing with Babita during a family get-together.
Anil Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor, Amrita Arora and Saba Pataudi also commented on Kareena’s post with heart emojis.
In a career span of less than a decade, Babita Kapoor is widely praised for her performances in Raaz (1967), Haseena Maan Jayegi (1968), Farz (1967) and Doli (1969).
Karisma Kapoor also shared a throwback picture with mother Babita to wish the latter on her birthday.
“हैप्पी बर्थडे टू यू gorgeous mama OG Sunita forever (My hair accessory though ) #HappyBirthday #BestMama #OurWorld,” Karisma wrote in her note on Instagram.
In the picture, a young Karisma dons a sky-blue princess gown paired with a white rose-shaped hair clip, while Babita looks gorgeous in an orange floral print three-piece suit.
“Acha now I know how you and me are so hot ,” Kareena commented on sister Karisma’s post.
Shibani Akhtar and Sanjay Kapoor also commented on Karisma’s post to extend their wishes to Babita.
Kareena will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming cop thriller Singham Again opposite Ajay Devgn. The film is slated to release on Independence Day this year. Karisma, on the other hand, was last seen in the Netflix movie Murder Mubarak.
