Following the success of the recently-released Season 2, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, and Aanchal Singgh-starrer Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein is set to return with a Season 3 full of new twists, thrills, drama and action, Netflix announced on Wednesday.
“Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 2 ko itna pyaar dene ke liye shukriya. Agla chapter jald hi shuru hoga. Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 3, coming soon, only on Netflix,” the streamer wrote on X alongside an announcement video containing clips from the second season.
Directed by Sidharth Sengupta, the series revolves around Vikrant (Tahir Raj Bhasin), a man from a small town who is in love with Shikha (Shweta Tripathi Sharma) and about to start a new life with her. However, Vikrant's life is turned upside down when Purva (Aanchal Singgh), the daughter of a local politician and mafia king, enters his life. Purva, who has been in love with Vikrant since childhood, will do anything to marry him.
Season 2, released on November 22, focused on the protagonist's efforts to eliminate Purva, whom he was compelled to marry. Adding to the suspense was Gurmeet Choudhary, who introduced himself as Guru, Purva’s friend. The new character seemed poised to disrupt the fragile dynamics between Vikrant, Purva and Shikha. The season concluded on a cliffhanger, revealing Vikrant injured and Purva pregnant, sparking excitement among fans for a potential third instalment.
