Actress Swastika Mukherjee’s Facebook page has been hacked, she said on Instagram on Wednesday.
“My Facebook page has been HACKED. My team is working on solving the issue. In case you come across any post demeaning, or obscene, kindly ignore and know that it’s not me :),” she wrote.
Last year, the social media pages of Telugu superstar Prabhas were compromised, prompting the Adipurush actor to issue a statement. That apart, Nora Fatehi’s Instagram account was also hacked in 2022.
Amitabh Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Hrithik Roshan are also some of the Bollywood celebs whose social media accounts were compromised in recent years.
On the work front, Swastika was most recently seen in Abhijit SriDas-helmed family drama Bijoyar Pore. She is part of the ensemble cast in Dibakar Banerjee’s upcoming film Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2.
Alongside acting, Swastika is also a dedicated animal rights activist, which is evident from her social media pages. Whether it’s raising awareness about endangered species, promoting adoption of homeless pets or campaigning against animal cruelty, she tirelessly champions the cause of our furry, feathered, and scaly friends.
