Swara Bhasker and her politician husband Fahad Ahmad are expecting their first baby, the actress announced in an Instagram post on Tuesday alongside a set of photos of her flaunting a baby bump.

The announcement comes four months after she tied the knot with Fahad on February 16 this year. Swara also revealed via hashtags that her baby’s due date is sometime in October this year.
Several Bollywood celebrities including Swara’s Manto co-stars Rasika Dugal, Tillotama Shome, Guneet Monga and Sumeet Vyas commented on the Instagram pictures, extending their good wishes for the couple.
“Oh waaaaah. Many many congratulations 😍,” Mirzapur actress Rasika wrote, while Tillotama commented, “Ohhhh sweetheart!!! Congratulations ❤️❤️.”
Sharing her best wishes, Oscar-winning producer Guneet Monga wrote, “Sooooo much to celebrate! Love love love!! And god bless you both and the little one ♥️♥️ congratulations ♥️♥️.”

The couple had first met during the CAA protest in 2019 after which they connected over a shared pet cat.
