Actress Sushmita Sen on Tuesday interacted with fans through an Instagram live session, giving a health update and sharing her thoughts on the upcoming season of her Disney+ Hotstar thriller series Aarya.
Aarya Season 3 will hit the streaming platform on November 3.
Talking about a half-hour-long recap episode of Aarya, now available to watch on Disney+ Hotstar, the 47-year-old actress said, “Aarya’s entire journey, starting from the first two seasons till this upcoming third season, feels very surreal. It’s beautiful to see the journey we’ve all covered…I cannot wait for you to revisit it because everything is connected.”
When a fan commented that they enjoyed Sushmita’s recent series Taali, the actress replied, “Oh, you enjoyed Taali. Thank you so much. You guys have given so much love to Taali that my heart goes out to you.”
When a fan asked Sushmita about her health, she said she was feeling better and would soon take a month-long break. “It is getting better by the day. I’m just waiting to finish off with Taali and Aarya and then I’ll take a month-long break.”
In February, Sushmita had suffered a heart attack and had to undergo angioplasty and stent placement.
“I didn’t just want to be shining in the sky like a star. I wanted to be famous because I wanted to connect with people,” Sushmita said, after seeing comments from fans located in various cities in India as well as Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sydney. “I hope we get to see each other,” she added.
While thanking her fans, Sushmita said, “I only reflect what I receive. In a world filled with all kinds of people, I somehow attract and I’m blessed to have the kind of people I want in my life and that’s all of you. Thank you for bringing the love and kindness in my life and when you do, I reciprocate and it makes me very very happy.”
Since Sushmita’s birthday is on November 19, a fan wished her in advance. “I am always happy as a child about my birthday. I’m doing things that make me happy and make a difference.”
Earlier in the day, the actress also shared a video of her enjoying a night ride with her niece Ziana from the sunroof of her car on the latter’s second birthday. “Happyyyyyyyy Birthday Ziana!!! 🥳😄😍🥰💋❤️🎶🤩 2 years old…naughtiest year begins!!!😉💋” she wrote in the caption. “Let me know when you’re ready for our next drive…Bua ever ready!!!😜😄❤️🎶 #letsfly,” she added.
