Actress Sunny Leone’s upcoming Tamil film Quotation Gang, directed by Vivek Kumar Kannan, will hit theatres on August 30, she announced on Monday, dropping a fresh poster.
“I am so excited to announce that #QuotationGang is hitting the theatres on 30 August 2024! Get ready for an unforgettable cinematic experience,” the 43-year-old actress wrote on Instagram.
The poster features Sunny sporting a chequered shirt, with blood all over her face. Two silver nose pins, a black bindi and kohl-rimmed eyes accentuate her look.
Last year, the first teaser of Quotation Gang was dropped by the makers. Sunny’s rugged gangster look and scenes of violence were the highlights of the video.
Also featuring Jackie Shroff, Priyamani and Sara Arjun, Quotation Gang revolves around a gang. Sunny plays gangster in the movie. Her character joins the syndicate but undergoes a transformation over time.
The film, which was previously slated to release this month, also stars Vikas Warrier, Jayaprakash and Ashraf Mallissery. Sivamani has scored the film’s music, while Arun Bathmanaban has been in charge of cinematography.
Sunny was last seen in Anurag Kashyap’s police noir film Kennedy, which received a seven-minute standing ovation after its screening at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2023.
