Sunny Leone pays tribute to actress Madhuri Dixit in the music video of her latest foot-tapping number Mera Piya Ghar Aaya 2.0, a remastered version of Madhuri’s iconic track from the 1995 film Yaarana, dropped by Zee Music Company on Sunday.
The three-minute-44-second-long clip begins with Sunny getting ready to dance on the stage. She sports a sparkly golden blouse coupled with a blue-and-silver skirt. The 42-year-old actress also wears a black bindi and a golden waist chain to present a stunning look.
Recreating Madhuri’s iconic moves from the 1995 song of the same name, Sunny dances along to the beats of the popular number. Her moves get even more energetic as she is joined by background dancers. The song ends with Sunny’s performance garnering a huge round of applause from the audience.
Sharing the music video on Instagram, Zee Music Company wrote, “When the beat drops, there’s no stopping the groove! 🔥 #MeraPiyaGharAaya2.0 Song is OUT NOW! 🎵.”
Composed by Enbee and Anu Malik, the dance number has been sung by Neeti Mohan and penned by Enbee and Maya Govind.
Sunny was previously seen in the remake of the 1979 song Laila Main Laila starring Zeenat Aman from the film Abdullah. She starred in Anurag Kashyap’s Kennedy which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival and at the 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
