Gadar 2 showed signs of slowing down as it minted Rs 6.7 crore on Day 15 in the face of stiff competition from Dream Girl 2, raking in Rs 426.70 crore nett in terms of its total box office collection.
The Sunny Deol-starrer took the box office by storm, registering an opening day collection of Rs 40.10 crore nett on August 11. The film had grossed Rs 284 crore nett in India in the first week. It added another Rs 116 crore nett in the second week, taking the total 14-day collection to Rs 420 crore nett.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar-starrer OMG 2 added Rs 1.65 crore nett to its earnings on its third Friday. The total collection of the Amit Rai-helmed satirical comedy now stands at Rs 128.15 crore nett.
Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher-starrer Ghoomer minted Rs 0.40 crore nett on Day 8, taking the total collection of the R. Balki-directed sports drama to Rs 5.26 crore nett.
