After last year’s blockbuster Gadar 2, Sunny Deol is set to headline Gopichandh Malineni’s upcoming film SDGM, touted as ‘the biggest actioner of the country’, the actor announced on Thursday alongside a concept poster on X (formerly Twitter).
“Make way for the biggest action film of the country - #SDGM. Starring Action Superstar @iamsunnydeol. Directed by @megopichand. Produced by @MythriOfficial & @peoplemediafcy. Mass feast loading. Shoot begins soon,” Sunny captioned his post on X.
SDGM is produced by Neveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar and T.G. Vishwa Prasad under the banners of Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory. Rishi Punjabi serves as the cinematographer. The music for the film has been scored by Thaman S.
Sunny Deol will also be seen in Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming film Lahore 1947 alongside Preity Zinta. Lahore 1947 is produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and marks the first collaboration between Sunny and Aamir.
The 66-year-old actor is also set to play the lead role in the sequel to Anurag Singh’s 1997 film Border. His other upcoming projects include M. Padmakumar’s Soorya and Vivek Chauhan’s Baap.
Sunny will also reportedly play the role of Hanuman in the upcoming Nitesh Tiwari directorial Ramayana starring Ranbir Kapoor in the titular role.
