Sunny Deol grooved to the beats of Jamal Kudu, his brother Bobby Deol’s entry song in Animal, on Christmas Day as he hopped on the new trend on Instagram holding a teddy bear in his hands.
Sharing the video on Instagram on Tuesday, the Gadar star wrote, “Celebrated #Christmas with my fave Teddy Bear 🧸🎄🎊.”
Following Animal’s release on December 1, Jamal Kudu, has taken social media by storm. Netizens have been sharing fun reels in which they balance a glass on their heads as the song plays in the background. However, Sunny went for a twist in the trend — the 66-year-old actor held his favourite teddy bear close to his chest and danced in front of a sparkly Christmas tree.
Other than grooving casually to the song, Sunny included selfies in which he kisses his teddy bear. He also posed with two kids who joined the celebration.
Bobby had recently revealed Sunny’s love for teddy bears and his huge collection when the brothers appeared together on Koffee With Karan Season 8 . In response, Karan Johar said, “According to me, this is a national revelation…that you have a teddy bear fetish.”
2023 has turned out to be a landmark year for both the Deol brothers as they have come out with blockbusters. While Sunny starred in Anil Sharma’s Gadar 2, which arrived in cinemas on August 11, Bobby is currently basking in the success of Animal.
Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor, revolves around a toxic father-son relationship. Based on a revenge drama with Bobby playing the main antagonist, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri.
