Actor Suniel Shetty has begun shooting for the second season of the action thriller series Hunter: Tootega Nahi Todega, he announced on social media on Friday, sharing a clip with directors Prince Dhiman and Alok Batra.
“Back in the hunt! #Hunter2,” Suniel wrote alongside a video of himself holding a clapstick.
Actors Rahul Dev and Esha Deol reacted to Suniel’s post. Esha commented, “Awesome...more power to you all,” while Rahul congratulated Suniel on starting his new project.
Suneil is set to reprise his role as A.C.P Vikram Chauhan in Hunter Season 2.
Produced by Saregama and Yoodlee Films, the series follows A.C.P Vikram’s journey through Mumbai’s underworld as he strives to prove his innocence in the murder of an elderly woman.
The first season, released on Amazon Mini TV in March last year, also starred Esha Deol, Rahul Dev, Barkha Bisht, Mihir Ahuja, Teena Singh, Chahat Tejwani, Karanvir Sharma, Siddharth Kher, Gargi Sawant and Pawan Chopra in key roles.
On the work front, Suniel has Ahmed Khan’s Welcome to the Jungle and Priyadarshan’s Hera Pheri 3 in the pipeline. The 63-year-old actor is also expected to play a pivotal role in the Lionsgate thriller Nanda Devi.
