Actress Sanya Malhotra is set to feature in the music video for singer Sunidhi Chauhan’s upcoming song Aankh, she announced in a social media post on Monday. The song will drop on December 5.
“Catch your breath… the reveal is near! New track with @rushaandblizza featuring @sanyamalhotra_ dropping on 5th December, Directed by @piyush_bhagat & @shaziasamji,” reads the post alongside the poster featuring Sunidhi and Sanya dressed in bold outfits with dark tones, exuding confidence and strength. Sanya is seated, while Sunidhi stands behind her in a striking pose.
Backed by Warner Music India, Sunidhi has collaborated with musician duo Rusha and Blizza for Aankh. Piyush Bhagat and Shazia Samji have directed the music video.
Sunidhi recently collaborated with Shreya Ghoshal on the song Chhaila released on October 14. The song, composed by Salim-Sulaiman, features Shreya rapping for the first time. Chhaila is part of Salim-Sulaiman’s independent music effort, Bhoomi 2024, and is penned by Shraddha Pandit.
Other recent releases of Sunidhi include Maahroo, Leta Jaijo Re and Sakhee Shagun.
Actress Sanya Malhotra was last seen in Mrs., a remake of The Great Indian Kitchen (2021). The film was screened at the 24th New York Indian Film Festival (NYIFF) on June 2, 2024.
