RRR director S.S. Rajamouli, Pushpa helmer Sukumar, actor Mahesh Babu and several other members of the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film fraternity have heaped praises on Nani’s recently released film Dasara with some of them calling it the actor’s “career-best” performance.

Pushpa director Sukumar also posted a detailed review of Dasara on Facebook, praising the director, Nani and the entire team. “My heart is filled with joy and pride after watching #Dasara I was taken into the world of Veerlapalli which my dear #SrikanthOdela has created. I am swooned by his visual narration. Loved watching #Nani surrender himself to the character Dharani. Sarkaru Vaari Paata actor Mahesh Babu called Dasara a “stunning cinema”. “So so proud of #Dasara!! Stunning cinema! 🔥🔥,” the 47-year-old wrote.
Tamil actor Karthi, who is gearing up for the release of Ponniyin Selvan: 2, also expressed his excitement via Twitter. “. @NameisNani , you are everywhere, and it’s amazing to see your energy. More power to #Dasara 👊🏼,” he wrote.
Directed by debutante Odella Srikanth, Dasara is a tale of uprising, revenge and friendship based on the premise of the epic Ramayana. In the film, Nani plays a character called Dharani, based on Ravana. It also stars Keerthy Suresh, Shine Tom Chacko and Dheekshith Shetty in key roles.
Originally shot in Telugu, Dasara was released on March 30 in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages. The movie transports the viewers to a never-seen-before milieu of Singareni coal mines near Godavarikhani in Telangana.
Dasara is on the brink of entering the Rs 100-crore club and becoming one of Nani’s highest-grossing films.
