Apart from making her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan has also made her playback debut with Jab Tum Na Theen song in the coming-of-age drama, the actress announced on Saturday.
Composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the song has also been sung by Aditi Saigal, known as Dot.
Sharing a screenshot of the song, now available to stream on Spotify, Suhana wrote on Instagram, “I sang my first song!! Thank you @zoieakhtar & @shankar.mahadevan for being so patient with me 🥺 please listen with kindness 😂❤️.”
The post quickly received responses from Bollywood celebrities like Ananya Panday, Shweta Bachchan and Shanaya Kapoor. Khushi Kapoor, who plays Betty Cooper in the upcoming film, and Zoya also responded to the post.
The entire soundtrack of The Archies was released on Saturday and is now available to stream on Spotify.
Set in the hill station of Riverdale in 1964, The Archies is an adaptation of the popular US comics series of the same name. The film marks a number of acting debuts including those of Suhana and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya.
The Archies will be streaming on Netflix from December 7.
