Starring Subhashree Ganguly in her web debut, Indubala Bhaater Hotel, directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya, unfolds against the backdrop of immigration. This story is the journey of Indubala who becomes an entrepreneur.

The Hoichoi web series Indubala Bhaater Hotel captures the tale of Indubala, a young girl from East Pakistan with a simple life, sprinkled with small joys. Her life changes after she moves to Calcutta following her marriage and tries to build a life there. Keeping her hometown alive through her food, Indubala opens up a small hotel within her house and feeds office-goers, students and the masses, delicacies of her hometown. Each dish has a story or a memory attached to it and whoever eats at Indubala Bhaater Hotel inadvertently becomes a part of that story. The teaser, which dropped recently, gives audiences a sneak peek into her world and introduces Indubala to the audience.

Talking about the teaser, Subhashree Ganguly said, “Indubala is a character that I really enjoyed playing. I loved playing her. Indubala is strong, determined and resilient but she’s not aggressive. Her strength lies in her softness, kindness, and ability to see the good in everything. She’s a woman who stood strong in the face of the adversities that came her way and built a business all on her own, driven by sheer passion and determination. Playing Indubala was a challenge, but I loved it and would do it all over again. I don’t think there could have been a better project to make my OTT debut besides Indubala Bhaater Hotel.”
