The makers of Stree 2 on Wednesday dropped the music video of Aaj Ki Raat song, which shows Tamannaah Bhatia’s electrifying dance moves to qawwali beats to impress the people of Chanderi.

The three-minute-three-second song begins with Tamannaah, dressed in a stunning green shimmery outfit, preparing for her stage performance in front of the admiring eyes of Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana and Abhishek Banerjee. The track begins as a slow Qawwali melody and gradually picks up pace, allowing the actress to showcase her mesmerising moves to entice the audience.

Apart from Tamannaah’s special appearance in the film, the music video also features a cameo by the film’s director, Amar Kaushik.

Production house Maddock Films and Tamannaah shared the song on Instagram. “#AajKiRaat hogi tabaahi ki raat!” reads the caption.

Sung by Madhubanti Bagchi, Divya Kumar, and Sachin-Jigar,Aaj Ki Raat is composed by Sachin-Jigar and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Stree 2, the sequel to the 2018 film Stree, continues the story based on a folk legend. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film reunites the original cast including Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana.

Co-produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande, Sharada Karki Jalota, and Pooja Prem Patheja, Stree 2 is set to hit the cinemas on August 15.
