Stree 2

Jio Studios on Tuesday dropped a video to announce that the filming of Stree 2 — the highly-anticipated sequel to Amaar Kaushik’s 2018 horror-comedy film Stree — has begun. Written by Niren Bhatt and helmed by Amar Kaushik, the film stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in key roles.

The video shows the setting for the first film with ominous words written on the wall in red. The words change from “O woman, come tomorrow” to “O woman protect us”. It is followed by the theme of the film ‘sarkate ka aatank (terror of the headless man)’.

Stree 2 is set to release in August 2024.

Love at First Sight

The trailer of Netflix’s upcoming romantic comedy film Love at First Sight was dropped by the streamer on Monday evening. The film stars Haley Lu Richardson, Ben Hardy, Jameela Jamil, Rob Delaney, Dexter Fletcher and Sally Phillips.

The two-minute-27-second-long trailer shows Hadley (Haley Lu Richardson) meeting Oliver (Ben Hardy) in a chance encounter at the airport. They spend a long night on the plane from New York to London together. However, finding each other in the chaos seems impossible after a mishap.

Love at First Sight will be streaming on Netflix from September 15.

Aneethi

Think Music India on Monday shared the teaser of the upcoming Tamil-language film Aneethi. Written and directed by Vasanthabalan, the film stars Arjun Das and Dushara Vijayan.

In the one-minute-34-second-long trailer, we see how Arjun Das’s character becomes a nightmare for the other characters as he goes on a killing spree to avenge something personal.

Aneethi will hit cinemas on July 21.

Tumhe Kitna Pyaar Karte

Tumhe Kitna Pyaar Karte, a music video from Nitish Towari’s upcoming film Bawaal, was released by T-Series on Monday. The love ballad, sung by Arijit Singh and Mithoon, features Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor.

The two-minute-15-second-long video begins with Varun and Janhvi’s wedding, followed by the two lovebirds romancing each other in various places in Europe. A flashback also shows us their courtship days. It also shows a tumultuous period in their relationship, leading to a separation.

Bawaal is slated to arrive on Prime Video on July 21.
