Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Stree 2 has become only the third film to reach a net collection of Rs 200 crore in the PVR-Inox multiplex chain, announced PVR Cinemas CEO Kamal Gianchandani on Tuesday.
Amar Kaushik’s horror comedy will join Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 (2022) and Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan (2023) in this exclusive club.

The fifth instalment in the Maddock Films’ supernatural comedy universe, Stree 2 has amassed Rs 516 crore nett at the domestic box office in 20 days. It is the first Hindi-language film of 2024 — and the sixth overall — to cross the Rs 500-crore milestone.
On Tuesday, Stree 2 surpassed the lifetime domestic collection of S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Hindi version), which had earned Rs 510 crore nett in 2017. Earlier, the sequel to Stree (2018) had beat the lifetime collection of Sandeep Vanga Reddy’s Animal (Hindi version), which had minted Rs 502.98 crore nett in 2023.
