K-pop boy band Stray Kids became the first-ever group to debut at No. 1 on Billboard 200 chart five times in a row following the July 19 release of their latest album ATE, Billboard said in a social media post on Monday.

“Stray Kids Become First Group to Debut at No. 1 on Billboard 200 With First Five Chart Entries,” the US-based music and entertainment magazine wrote on X.

Stray Kids previously topped the chart with ODDINARY and MAXIDENT in 2022 right after their release. In 2023, they topped the charts with ROCK-STAR and 5-STAR.

“‘The first group in the world’ Stray Kids topped the ‘Billboard 200’ for 5 consecutive years,” the official X page of the boy band wrote on X.

American rapper DMX is the only other musician to achieve this feat from 1998-2003. His studio albums It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot (1998), Flesh of My Flesh Blood of My Blood (1999), …And Then There Was X (2000), The Great Depression (2001) and Grand Champ (2003) topped the Billboard.

ATE broke records with 2,32,000 album units sold in the US last week, according to music and entertainment data provider Luminate. This achievement makes it the highest-selling album of 2024 globally after Taylor Swift's latest release, The Tortured Poets Department.

Stray Kids’ ATE features eight songs including MOUNTAINS, I Like It, JJAM, Runners, Twilight, Stray Kids, Chk Chk Boom and Chk Chk Boom (Festival version). Chk Chk Boom was the official soundtrack of the new MCU film Deadpool & Wolverine, which hit theatres on July 26.
