Rajkummar Rao’s Srikanth Bolla runs towards the finishing line of a race brimming with joy and excitement in a new teaser video for Tushar Hiranandani’s eponymous biopic, dropped by production house T-Series Films on social media on Friday.
“A journey that will inspire you to open your eyes! Aap sabka nazariya badalne aa raha hai #Srikanth,” the makers wrote alongside the teaser video on Instagram.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar and Nidhi Pamar Hiranandani, the film also stars Jyotika, Sharad Kelkar and Alaya F in key roles.
Despite being a brilliant student, Srikanth faced many challenges in his academic life because of his impaired vision. He later turned down several corporate opportunities in the US because he was looking for some innovative ideas in India.
In 2012, Srikanth founded Bollant Industries, a company that produces areca-based products and creates job opportunities for hundreds of individuals with disabilities. His biopic was first announced in 2022. The movie is slated to hit the screens on May 10.
On the work front, Rajkummar has quite a few projects in the pipeline. He will star in the sports drama Mr and Mrs Mahi alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Abhishek Banerjee. Besides, the 39-year-old actor will headline Stree 2, a sequel to Amar Kaushik’s 2018 horror comedy Stree. In the sequel, the actor will share screen space with Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana.
