Apart from Kay Kay, Shekhar Home features a stellar cast, including Ranvir Shorey, Rasika Dugal, Kirti Kulhari and Dibyendu Bhattacharya.

“A web of unsolvable mysteries and only one man who can solve them. #ShekharHome streaming 14 August onwards exclusively on JioCinema Premium,” JioCinema wrote on its X handle.

This is the second collaboration between Srijit and Kay Kay after the Netflix anthology series Ray. Kay Kay played the lead role in the Srijit’s segment titled Behrupiya, based on the short story Bohurupi penned by Satyajit Ray.

Kay Kay was last seen in the Yash Raj Films series The Railway Men on Netflix, alongside an ensemble cast including R Madhavan, Divyenndu, Babil Khan, Sunny Hinduja and Juhi Chawla. His upcoming project is Citadel: Honey Bunny, an Amazon Prime Video spy series directed by Raj & DK. The series also stars Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sikandar Kher, Saqib Saleem and Emma Canning.

Meanwhile, Srijit has another release slated for this Independence Day. Padatik, a biopic on Mrinal Sen, will be hitting theatres on August 15. Bangladeshi actor Chanchal Chowdhury will play the legendary auteur in this movie.
