Srijit Mukherji’s next film: Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Ananya Chatterjee, Ritwick Chakraborty play characters from diverse backgrounds

The name of the upcoming movie, based on Basu Chatterjee’s 1986 TV movie Ek Ruka Hua Faisla, is yet to be decided

SVF has revealed the first look of some characters from Srijit Mukherji’s upcoming yet-to-be-titled film, which was announced during the Maha Mahurat event organised by the production house earlier this year.

The ensemble cast includes Kaushik Ganguly, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Phalguni Chattopadhyay, Kaushik Sen, Anirban Chakrabarti, Rahul Banerjee, Ananya Chatterjee, Sauraseni Maitra, Kanchan Mullick, Ritwick Chakraborty, Arjun Chakrabarty and Suhotra Mukhopadhyay.

The film is based on Basu Chatterjee’s 1986 TV movie Ek Ruka Hua Faisla. The characters in Srijit’s adaptation have diverse socio-economic backgrounds, political perspectives, and sexual orientations.

Srijit shared his enthusiasm for his upcoming movie, confirming that they just completed the shooting. “We’ve wrapped up shooting, and I am delighted to work with such a fantastic ensemble. This is my first collaboration with Ananya Chatterjee and Sauraseni Maitra, and it's great to reunite with Parambrata after a long hiatus. I am excited to share it with the audience soon,” he said.
