Gina Rodriguez’s Nora and Zachary Levi’s Terrence team up with their tech-savvy kids to save the world from a video game apocalypse in the trailer of Robert Rodriguez’s upcoming American spy action comedy film Spy Kids - Armageddon.
Unveiled by Netflix on Thursday late night, the two-minute-24-second-long trailer begins by introducing middle-aged couple Nora and Terrence and their two kids — played by Everly Carganilla and Connor Esterson — obsessed with video games.
After accidentally bringing video game characters to life, the kids learn that their secret agent parents are missing. Now, they must rescue their parents by following their pre-recorded instructions on ‘how to become a spy’ and team up with them in order to save the world.

This is the fifth instalment of filmmaker Rodriguez’ Spy Kids film franchise and is helmed by him. It also introduces child actors Everly Carganilla and Connor Esterson as the next generation of spy kids. Billy Magnussen plays the villain.
Spy Kids - Armageddon will be streaming on Netflix from September 22.
